Steve Croteau from Serpent Cymbals has formulated a delicious and complex cymbal all at the same time. I am the proud owner of a Diamondback with a brilliant finish in a 17" diameter. This cymbal is so musical that it sings to you as you are attaching it to your cymbal stand. 

I really love rolling on my Diamondback with mallets. It can go from a hush to a roar so nicely, and even the inverse is true. When struck as a crash cymbal with drumsticks the Diamondback shimmers with a dark and bright voice all at the same time. I also love using the Diamondback as a ride cymbal when either playing double pedal or two bass drums.
