Serpent Cymbals was a proud sponsor at the recent 2008 Northwest Percussion Festival held at Eastern Washington University, April 4-6.   Percussion Ensembles from: Seattle Pacific University, Central Washingtion University, Eastern Washington University, Oregon State University, University of Oregon, Portland State University, Boise State University, Lewis & Clark College along with the Orkota Percussion Duo, Brad Dutz, and Nebojsa Zivkovic performed throughout the weekend.   Congratulations to all the ensembles and performers for a fabulous percussion festival!

Corey Lofthus (right), a freshman at the University of Oregon, was the proud winner of a Sidewinder 15 at the 2008 Northwest Percussion Festival.  Corey says, "I love how unique the cymbal is, not only in it's looks but in it's sound as well.  It has the attack of a splash cymbal but the sustain of a large tam-tam."
